Exiled on Audio

Heather Murdock is the voice of ALIGNED: An Immortal Essence Short Story, and EXILED. It should be on audible.com later this month. I'll let you know the exact date.
Check out this video where she discusses what she enjoyed most about the experience.

What do you think? Would you listen to a book?
The audible app is available for most iPhones so you can take it with you anywhere.

I've only owned one audio book, and that is The DaVinci Code on CD. I listen to it in my car. About 30 times now I would say.

I've never listened to an audiobook, but I will probably do so in the future, for whatever reason.

Great video!

Oh wow! This is a great idea. I love audio books. I need an audible.com account, a new iphone and an aux plug in a new car! Then I'd be cool. :)

Old Kitty - LOL. I think you'll really enjoy it.

Joshua - I have that one of CD, too. What's so cool about Audible.com is that you don't need cd's. Just a smart phone, and a pair of earbuds.

The Golden Eagle - It's very enjoyable. Usually it takes a little getting used to, but then, once you're in it, it's amazing.

Jessie - Girl, yes you do. =D Also, you're already so cool, there's ice coming off your roof.

I like listening to books when I'm doing a lot of other things and don't have time to sit and read.

Forgot to say that I think she has a great voice and will make the experience most enjoyable!

I have listened to several audio books in the past but none recently. Here are two things I would like to share about my experiences with them:

1. Audio books are much better when the author has a good voice and is the speaker. In this way the author knows the story and the emotion can better be verbalized at the right time.

2. Audio books tend to lead me astray if I am listening on my laptop. I may get up and find myself doing something else. In moments I become aware that I have stopped listening and have to revert back to where I left off.

Carol - So do I. Cleaning is my fav time.

Jeremy - Thank you so much for your input. I appreciate it, and agree that the author would be the best to read IF he/she has a great voice. Wasn't it Libba Bray that won and award for her audible book of BEAUTY QUEENS?
