Zoinks!! It's a funny word. A Scooby-Do word. Specifically, a Shaggy word. AND, it's my Z word. I love it. Congrats to those who participated, and/or finished the A to Z challenge. Hope you had as much fun as I did. A few days ago I mentioned I'd reveal my platform - the "thing" I stand for. So without further ado:
I stand for children/teens/young adults. With this platform I intend to be a crusader for self-esteem, acceptance, tolerance, giving, love. I've chosen this platform because I have children, two of them are teens. The difference between a teen who knows his/her worth, and one who doesn't is the difference between night and day.
It's also the difference between a child who will bully, and one who will help someone in need.
Children are our future. And my hope is that I can give them a place to feel safe. To:
Be KIND.
Be SMART.
Be a LEADER.
I've started a blog with an amazing writer friend, Magan Vernon, called:
Where TOLERANCE, ACCEPTANCE, SELF-ESTEEM, and GIVING are honored, and discussed.
Click on this LINK to go over to the page, and follow. We also have a Facebook page. Click HERE to "like" the page. It'd be really appreciated.

I have a large Scooby-Doo facing my door when I come into my apartment. A friendly face to greet me. LOL.
So, that said, of course, I love your Z word.
When a child at school, I always seemed to be the one who said to the bully in the midst of his "fun": 'Hey, pick on somebody your own size!' They would then say, 'You look my size.' And the fun would ensue!
I am adding your linky's to my site. If you think a post from me might help, just let me know, Roland
Hey, Roland - I still watch Scooby-Doo (with my kids, of course) *snicker*
Thanks for adding the link's to your site. Super sweet. And I love to talk to you about doing a post. I think that'd be awesome! Email me.
That is an excellent platform. If kids had more self-worth, they wouldn't struggle so much when they are teens.
Hope geeky is sexy as well.
