Justin Timberlake, Taco Soup, and Valentine's Day!

Hope everyone is having an amazing Monday!

Real quick, I have to mention that I dreampt about JT last night. We were working on a writing project together. Later I went to use his bathroom. It. Was. Huge. Had a movie screen in there.

Also, I've notified the winners, but thought I'd mention that Keri Michelle Wiley #34 was the Grand Prize winner in the Sleeping Roses giveaway. Momo #169 won a signed copy of Sleeping Roses and Becky Avey #199 won an eBook copy of Sleeping Roses. A special THANK YOU to everyone who participated, stopped by and followed my blog. I really apprecite it. =D

I have three books coming out this year - May, July and November. So I am a writing fool!!!

Beyond the writing, I hosted a dinner party for my husband's family yesterday. Twenty people and two kinds of taco soup. It turned out delicious and was a lot of fun!

Recipe - Taco Soup

1lb lean ground beef
2 cans pinto beans
1 can jalepeno black beans
1 can corn
2 large cans tomato sauce
1 package low sodium taco seasonings
1 package ranch dressing mix
2 cups beef broth
(You could also add 1/2 cup chopped yellow onion and substitute a couple of large chopped tomatoes for 1 can of tomato sauce)
pepper

Directions:
cook and drain beef. Drain and rinse beans and corn. In large pot add two cups beef broth and 2 large cans tomato sauce as well as ranch and taco seasonings packets. Whisk. Pour in everything else, stir and heat to boiling. Then lower heat and simmer 20-30 minutes.

Toppings:
Fritos, sour cream, cheese.

Yum! Yum! Yum!

Last but not least, I want to wish each of you Happy Valentine's Day. The anthology of short stories entitled IN HIS EYES, which is all about love and romance, is FREE on Smashwords. My short story, ALIGNED, is the last one. Download a copy and enjoy!!!!

Had a crazy dream lately? Want to share?
What about Valentine's Day? What are you doing?

I never have dreams about famous people, not that I can remember. My dreams seem to be full of people who I apparently know, even though they look like nobody I have ever met.

@ Sarah Pearson: HUH? So, you know them but have never met them? That's weird, I would love for you to elaborate.

Is that all you did with JT? You sure nothing else happened? ;)

I don't dream about Famous People either, (at least not while asleep) but knowing my mind, I'm doing them a favor. (Winky Face ;)

I deplore tatoos, so Timberlake is annoying to look at.

Happy for you with all the books coming out, that is wonderful.

The taco soup looks great, that was a big spread to put on.

I wonder if I can make the taco soup with veggie beef?

I know. My vegan lifestyle messes up the best of recipes.

I had many dreams last night but they had one consistent element - in all of them, I was getting ready to join the Peace Corps (no such plans in real life). Good luck with A-Z. I look forward to your posts.
